Shadow Work:  Why Now is the Perfect Time

Hey there lovely readers! Today, I want to dive deep into something that can really have an impact on your life– shadow work. This can sound a little scary, but it’s easier than you’d think and trust me when I say it’s worth every ounce of effort.

So what is shadow work?

Overall it’s a form of self-exploration that looks at the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden away. It’s the parts of us that we sometimes pretend don’t exist: fears, insecurities, traumas, and maybe even some unflattering tendencies. By looking at these not-so-fun parts of ourselves, we’re able to achieve some big-time healing and empowerment.

By looking at our inner shadows, we’re able to better understand and therefore challenge the way we see, think and feel. This means we’re able to grow, face our fears, and make positive changes towards the life that we want to be living. We can break free of patterns that have held us back and develop a greater sence of self-acceptance. This means less time fighting ourselves and more time moving forward. Embracing our shadows is the ultimate act of self-awareness which is a major step towards  empowerment and growth.

Why now?

Well, why not? Over the last few years, we’ve all embraced a lot of ups and downs. This has given us a unique opportunity to reevaluate our priorities, wants and goals. Some of our hidden parts have even tried to come to the surface all on their own, as if the universe is saying here’s what you need to face! That makes now the perfect time to face some of our inner demons and open the door to profound personal transformation.

What can you achieve?

How does being stronger, more resilient, more self-aware and more confident sound? Those are just some of the possibilities that could come out of doing shadow work. You might still have a few parts that aren’t your favorite, but you’ll have the tools to face them and turn them into strengths.

Where to start?

If you’ve been on this blog before, you probably guessed that I was going to recommend journaling. That’s a wonderful place to start, as you can really dive into addressing all of your parts in a judgment free zone. But if you’re completely new to shadow work, that still might seem a bit intimidating… Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! I’ve created an introduction workbook to guide you step-by-step through the process. It’s called Meet Your Hidden Self and with pages of prompts and exercises, it’s made to help you dive into the depths of self-discovery and start facing your shadows.

And here’s the cherry on top – for a limited time, you can get the workbook for just $2! Yep, you heard that right, but you’ll have to act fast because it won’t stay that way forever. The price will go up next month.
