Guest Blogging- How does it work? - Emily Ever After Co.

If you’re reading this, it means that you are on my blog. This means you know that I felt a calling to not only push myself further in my healing journey, but to try to help other women do the same. I have tried to create this safe place of healing where I can share some of my experiences and things that I’ve tried along the way in order to be stronger, more confident, and more fulfilled. Having said that, I’m still only a few years into this journey and I do not have all of the answers. That’s why I love the idea of guest blogging!

I’m calling on members of this community!

By this community, I’m referring to all of those badass women who were not okay with sitting on the sidelines of life anymore. I’m referring to boss babes who decided to take control and chase their dreams. Women who support other women and who are constantly seeking out ways to build each other up. I’m talking about the awesome, inspiring, lovely souls who know that their worth does not correlate with someone else’s opinions. THAT is the community that I want to be a part of, and that is the community I want to share with my readers.

We are all amazing in our own ways.

I love that we all have our own different strengths and skill sets. We all have our own stories and experiences, and we can all learn from each other. That’s why I like to invite other members of this community to do some guest blogging on this site.

If you have a story or skillset or experience that you think might help other women in our community and would like to share it on EmilyEverAfterCo., please reach out to me. Let me know what it is that you’d like to write about and we can chat. If it feels like a good fit, go ahead and write that piece up and send it my way! I’ll read it and write up a little intro paragraph, and send it over so that you can see the final formatting and exactly how it will look before posting. I’ll share it on this site, promote it on my social media, and send you a graphic in case you want to share as well.

If you’re a small business owner, you can absolutely plug your business and tell readers how to get in touch with you- in fact, I encourage it! The only stipulation is that your article cannot be a straight up sales pitch. The overall content needs to be a free resource for readers, whether they decide to contact you to go further or not.

I also like to include a little bio at the end.

I think it’s important that people get a feel for who it is they’re reading from and connecting with. For this reason, I like to include a little bio with your name, a few sentences about who you are, and a photo if you’re okay with it.
